2011 Buckskin Queen Kerenza Martin

My name is Kerenza Martin and I am a senior at Corvallis High School.  I have been a member of the Northwest Buckskin Club for 3 years.  In school, I am a member of National Honors Society.  I am involved in the Leadership class and the Mr. Spartan program.  Mr. Spartan is a 4 month long fundraising program which raises money for the Mario Pastaga House and The Regional Cancer Research Center.  I am also involved with 4-H.  Currently, I am in two 4-H clubs, Horse and Swine.  With 4-H I am a State Ambassador as well as a County Ambassador for Benton County.  I serve as secretary for the 4-H Leaders Advisory Committee and I am president of the Benton County Horse Leaders Association.  In addition, I am a 4 year member of the Corvallis High School Equestrian Team. I am the youth representative of Willamette District for the Oregon High School Equestrian Teams.  As the 2011 Youth Representative of NWBC, I want to promote youth participation in the shows both Buckskin members and Open members.
